1. Dilution of concentrate.
On the bottle they write “Eau de Parfum”, but they reduce the proportion of perfume oil from 20% to 10–12%.

Expensive base notes (sandalwood, amber, patchouli) are replaced with cheap synthetic analogues.

3. Look for the batch code. The numbers on the bottom of the bottle will show the production date. Fresh perfumes (up to 1 year) last longer.
