After attempting to kill two people in Moscow, the suspect left Russia and is now hiding abroad.
The details were reported on Wednesday, July 24, by the director of the Federal Security Service (FSB) Alexander Bortnikov.
Law enforcement officers have identified the person who blew up an SUV in northern Moscow. However, it has become known that the man has fled the country, RIA Novosti reports.
After committing the crime, the suspect left for Turkey. Bortnikov said that the Russian side is already working with Turkish colleagues regarding extradition.
The incident occurred on July 24 on Sinyavinskaya Street. At about half past six in the morning, a Toyota SUV was blown up. The owner of the car and his wife were injured.
Investigators found the car in which the perpetrator arrived at the scene of the crime.
Experts are examining the vehicle. Investigators and forensic experts are also continuing to work at the scene of the emergency.
The reason for the assassination attempt could have been the professional activity of the car owner.
