The scene of the incident was an apartment in a building located on Shumilova Street.
It is noted that the police received a report of a woman being injured at the specified address.
According to the press service, law enforcement officers arrived at the scene. There they established that a conflict arose between the husband and wife due to jealousy, which ended with the woman being stabbed.
They also noted that the 42-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest area. She was soon taken to the hospital.
In addition, the man who fled the scene of the crime was found. He turned out to be a person with a criminal record.
It is added that a criminal case has now been opened. The man has been taken into custody.
