Law enforcement officers established that from the spring of 2009 to the end of 2015, Bedzhamov, in collusion with top managers of Vneshprombank, was engaged in the misappropriation of funds.

Over more than five years, criminals stole 156 billion rubles.

They did this with the help of non-repayable loans, which were issued to controlled accounts of 86 individuals and 427 organizations.

In addition, there were cases of funds being written off from clients' deposit accounts. The depositors themselves were not notified that certain amounts were being written off from their accounts.
