A man suspected of murdering General Kirillov was detained in the Moscow region.

According to preliminary data, the terrorist attack could have been committed by a native of Uzbekistan.

This information was shared on her Telegram channel by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk.

It is noted that information about the detention of the alleged perpetrator of the terrorist attack was confirmed by the FSB Public Relations Center.

As the special services found out, an Uzbek born in 1995 is suspected of committing the terrorist attack, who, according to the investigation, detonated an electric scooter filled with explosives.

Law enforcement officers tracked down the criminal and were able to detain him in the village of Chernoye, Balashikha District, Moscow Region.

Kirillov's murder

The terrorist attack in Moscow on Ryazansky Prospekt occurred the previous morning on December 17.

The terrorists blew up an electric scooter parked near a residential building when the head of the NBC protection troops, Lieutenant General Kirillov, and his assistant, Major Ilya Polikarpov, were nearby. Both servicemen died.
