French media reported new details about the case of Pavel Durov.

Journalists learned that the creator of Telegram met with representatives of French counterintelligence in the UAE before his arrest in Paris.

The newspaper Libération writes, citing its source, that Durov met with employees of the French General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) in Dubai.

He told about this himself during interrogation in Paris, the publication claims.

The newspaper learned the details of their conversation. Thus, in a conversation with counterintelligence representatives, the businessman made it clear to them that “it would be inappropriate for him to disclose information constituting a military secret.”

But at the same time, the entrepreneur made some concessions, agreeing to exchange information with DGSI.

For this purpose, it was agreed to use specially created communication channels.

French law enforcement agencies continue their investigation into Durov.

Libération claims that the arrested man agreed to cooperate with the investigation and provided them with a phone with passwords.
