Director of the American investment company Navigator Principal Investors Kyle Shostak gave a forecast for Russia in the event of Trump's victory.

He said sanctions pressure on Russia could increase if Donald Trump wins the election in November.

Shostak said: "Sanctions efforts are quite predictable if Trump wins the US presidential election," TASS reports.

According to the expert, the current administration may tighten sanctions at the end.

He also said that several announced rounds of sanctions should be expected before the end of this year.

If the chances of the Democrats and Republicans are equal, the presidential administration may increase pressure on Russia.

Shostak stated that this is a realistic scenario for sanctions by the end of this year.
