FSB exposes international criminal network of call centers
The Russian FSB has exposed the criminal activities of an international network of fraudulent call centers that worked in the interests of the former Georgian Minister of Defense.
About 100 thousand people suffered from the illegal activities of the criminal community, RIA Novosti reports.
Illegal activities of international call centers have been stopped by the FSB.
The agency's report emphasized that the call centers were part of an international criminal organization.
Criminals, under the guise of investment deals, engaged in mass fraud against citizens of more than 50 countries.
Around 100 thousand people became victims of the illegal activities of the criminal community.
The FSB emphasized that the fraudsters’ income reached one million dollars per day.
As a result of operational investigative activities, managers and employees of call centers in Russia were identified and detained.
Operational search activities as part of the investigation are ongoing.
