German media reported an incident involving a Russian ship and a Bundeswehr helicopter

The crew of a Russian ship used signal ammunition against a German helicopter.

The incident took place in the Baltic Sea, German media reports.

The DPA news agency reported this on its social media page and cited Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.

Journalists claim that she spoke about the incident on the sidelines of a NATO meeting in Brussels.

Baerbock began her commentary by accusing Russia and its allies of an increase in the number of “hybrid attacks.”

She cited the Baltic Sea as an example. Then, according to her, the crew of a Russian ship fired signal ammunition at a German military helicopter.

Baerbock also stated that Moscow was allegedly involved in the cable cuts between Germany and Finland, as well as Sweden and Finland.

The head of the German Foreign Ministry called on NATO members to strengthen surveillance of pipelines and network cables in the Baltic Sea.
