German media have named the estimated cost of the terrorist attack on Nord Stream.
A group of saboteurs, which allegedly consisted of civilians, received around 300 thousand dollars.
This was reported by the German publication Der Spiegel, citing its own sources.
According to media reports, the explosion of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines was carried out with the support of private sources. We are talking about at least 300 thousand dollars received by a group of civilians.
As specified in the material, the idea of sabotage was submitted for approval to the then Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny. It is noted that, despite the protest of the United States, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army decided to allow the sabotage to be carried out.
At the same time, according to insiders, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was not informed about what was happening.
The publication also claims that several divers could have taken part in the operation, with orders given by a serviceman. At the same time, the media claim that the identities of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack have been established, but they are not going to disclose them.
