Alexander Lukashenko hinted that he will not participate in the presidential elections in 2025.

The President of Belarus said that he has already begun to prepare the citizens of his country for the fact that they may have a new leader.

The politician noted that many residents of the republic have become accustomed to his leadership of the state, TASS reports.

Lukashenko believes that this should not be the case, because "no one lasts forever." Therefore, he stated that he has already begun to prepare Belarusians for the emergence of a new president.

He also stressed that he is a supporter of not revolutionary, but evolutionary changes in the state.
