Donald Trump has been called upon to withdraw the remaining troops from Syria to protect them.
This was stated by retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis.
He stressed on the social network X (formerly Twitter, banned in Russia) that 900 soldiers must leave Syria right now.
In this way, he commented on the publication of President-elect Trump that the United States should have no involvement in the situation in Syria.
The United States will not gain anything, so the soldiers should be withdrawn immediately, Davis said.
The officer believes that a small number of soldiers will not strengthen US security in the region.
The issue, obviously, can only be resolved by redeploying troops.
