Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin stated that Belgrade will never join the West’s “anti-Russian hysteria”.
The official stressed that the Serbian side continues to adhere to a neutral policy and values good-neighborly relations with Moscow.
Vulin explained: "We will never join NATO and will not share the West's anti-Russian hysteria. We will not introduce sanctions against Russia," as reported by TASS .
In addition, as the Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia indicated, anti-Russian military operations will not be carried out from the territory of his country.
The official added: “We respect and value Russia.”
Vulin made this information public during a direct meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The conversation between the head of the Russian state and the deputy prime minister of Serbia took place within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, in turn, during communications with NATO Assistant Secretary General Boris Ruge, repeatedly emphasized that Belgrade remains neutral.
