It was previously reported that UNESCO's report on impunity for crimes against journalists in 2022-2023 was not approved by the organization.
This is because the Russian journalists mentioned were nowhere to be found in it, a fact that has outraged countries in the Global South.
Despite pressure from the West, the document was not approved, but was only taken into account by UNESCO member countries.
The Western minority has completely exposed itself, Zakharova emphasized.
In her opinion, by not saying a word about the journalists who died during these years, the West only showed its true face.
