Vladimir Putin proposed updating the nuclear doctrine on Wednesday, September 25.
Moscow believes that the conditions for the use of nuclear weapons should be reviewed and adapted to modern geopolitical realities.
This decision caused heated discussions in the West and other countries that maintain allied relations with the United States.
