Are some people really capable of seeing prophetic dreams? Or is it a myth? An expert explains.

Psychologist Nailya Birarova spoke about the phenomenon of “prophetic dreams”.

The expert believes that this ability is based on both physiological and psychological factors, NEWS.ru reports.

The specialist noted that so-called prophetic dreams can be seen by people who have good intuition and a developed imagination.

But such dreams cannot be called 100% prophetic.

Prophetic dreams are preceded by a period when a person is actively thinking about something.

Imagines different scenarios, makes guesses, etc. This idea is firmly fixed in the person's mind.

At night, when the subcortical structures of the brain are resting and active foci become less impulsive, a premonition can be triggered.

That is, it turns out that both human hypersensitivity and the self-programming effect are at work.

Sometimes it is a coincidence. First, a person is created by an "inner foundation", and then external circumstances lead him to what he saw in a dream.
