State Duma deputy Alexey Didenko commented on the slowdown of YouTube in Russia.
He called for not clinging to video hosting, but to think ahead.
Didenko, in a conversation with RuNews24.ru , said that Google will soon be blocked.
He also added that Google Android and IOS may be blocked along with it.
The deputy recalled that civil servants and officials have long been prohibited from using these platforms.
The parliamentarian recommended that business representatives and scientists switch to other platforms.
Didenko stated that a tragedy did not happen when American Netflix became unavailable to Russians.
The parliamentarian said that Russia is facing restrictions and will be forced to introduce them in response.
