Scientists from the Center for International Climate Research CICERO reported that abnormal heat will cover the Earth in 2040.
According to experts, this event will lead to a series of life-threatening events.
The researchers published their observations in the scientific journal Nature Geoscience .
The relevant article states: “Natural disasters may become more frequent, and there is a high risk of unprecedented conditions occurring.”
In addition, scientists have noted that the wave of hot weather that will hit the Earth in 2040 will seriously affect the well-being of people and livestock.
The experts added: "Human and animal health could be affected. Ecosystems would also likely be stressed."
Researchers also predicted a decline in agricultural yields and the inability of power plants to provide sufficient cooling.
Deterioration of transport services, reduction in drinking water quality and damage to infrastructure are predicted.
