VK "accelerated" video loading on its platform by 20-30 percent
Representatives of the VK service announced that from now on, video uploads on the platform have increased by 20-30 percent.
It is reported that such changes became possible due to the expansion of the content delivery network by 1.5 times.
VK explains, among other things: “The content delivery network helps users in Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus gain access to faster videos.”
In addition, it is indicated that the innovation has become relevant in the context of an increasing number of users.
In particular, the traffic of "VK Video" has grown. Since the beginning of the year, it has increased by 30 percent.

Representatives of VK, among other things, emphasized: “Even if the daily audience of VK services increases significantly, this will not harm the speed of video playback.”
On the contrary, experts assure that the recordings will be loaded without significant delays.
Video recordings played in high definition will also start playing seamlessly.
