Kadetstvo star Vadim Andreev reveals why he might join a monastery
The 66-year-old actor admitted that one circumstance could become a reason for ending his career and going to a monastery.
Vadim Andreev shared that he would leave the vanity of the world and devote the rest of his life to serving God if he were left without his wife Galina.
In a conversation with Lady Mail , the artist admitted that faith helps him overcome life’s difficulties.
The actor said that he went through the churching ceremony 15 years ago after a crisis broke out in the family.
Then Andreev separated from his wife for a while. Since then, faith has occupied a special place in the life of the Russian film star.
The actor has a spiritual father, with whose support he married his wife, with whom he had been together for more than 40 years at that time.
The star of "Kadetstvo" and "Balabol" said that he began to think about how he wants to spend his old age.
The artist dreams of continuing to appear on the stage and in films. But Andreev added that a person can only guess: "God disposes."
He did not rule out the possibility of going to a monastery if he outlived his wife.
