The singer found herself at the epicenter of a scandal due to an incident at a concert in Yerevan.
A video fragment of the incident was published on her Telegram channel by journalist Alena Zhigalova.
Svetlana Loboda performed in Armenia. During the show, the star invited one of the spectators to the stage. It turned out to be a woman named Yulia.
The singer called on the Russian viewer to condemn the actions of the Russian authorities. But she refused to publicly criticize Moscow.
Loboda didn’t like this and kicked the woman out of the concert.
“If you came to my concert, you are obliged to support my position, otherwise I will ask you to leave,” the artist, who had previously performed actively in Russia, said in an ultimatum.
Loboda's desire to turn the dialogue towards politics was not supported by other viewers. They were especially outraged by the request of the Ukrainian singer.
The audience supported the spectator and responded to Loboda's indignation with boos and whistles.
