The widow and children of Yuri Shatunov defended their rights to the musical works performed by the late artist.
The united press service of the courts of Krasnodar Krai reported this on Telegram.
The reason for the proceedings was the rights to the songs. Shatunov's relatives filed a corresponding lawsuit in the Khostinsky District Court of Sochi, because Razin is registered in this city.
The court sided with the Shatunovs. The singer's relatives were confirmed to be right by the agreement concluded between Yuri and the author of the hits of "Tender May" Sergey Kuznetsov in 2019.
According to it, the composer transferred the rights to 23 of the group’s songs to the artist.
At the same time, the court did not receive from Razin the original 1992 contract, which, according to the producer, he concluded with Kuznetsov.
The court took into account all the arguments of the parties and considered that in this situation the law is on the side of the relatives of the artist, who died in 2022.
