The TV series "The Word of a Boy" was awarded a special prize at the Nika award
The sensational series "A Boy's Word. Blood on the Asphalt" has become a nominee for the prestigious Nika film award.
The film was awarded a special prize, which is given for achievements in television cinematography.
As RIA Novosti reports, the award was presented to the series’ film crew by Honored Artist of the RSFSR Leonid Kanevsky.
The artist noted the high level of work of the team that worked on the series. In his expert opinion, the TV show turned out to be tough and truthful.
Kanevsky, who in 1971 played a role in the then popular TV series “Investigation Led by Experts,” also emphasized that the award won by the film crew of “The Words of a Boy” was absolutely deserved.
He also encouraged the creators of the popular series to create a second season.
Let us recall that the series "The Word of a Boy. Blood on the Asphalt" gained huge popularity soon after its release. The main roles in the show were played by Nikita Kologrivy, Ivan Yankovsky, Sergey Burunov and other stars of Russian cinema.
Earlier, Kologrivy hinted that many of the actors from “The Boy’s Word” were taken into the series undeservedly.
