Actor from the musical "Notre Dame de Paris" Alexander Golubev has died
It has become known that one of the talented actors of the operetta theatre has passed away.
Alexander Golubev, who played the role of Claude Frollo in the Russian production of Notre Dame de Paris, has died at the age of 58.
In a conversation with the RIA Novosti agency, this news was confirmed by the director of the Moscow Operetta Theatre, Vladimir Tartakovsky.
The theater director confirmed the information that the 57-year-old actor passed away the day before, on September 9.
The cause of Golubev's death remains unknown.
The Russian audience knows the honored actor of Russia for his role in the musical “Notre Dame de Paris,” where he played the main antagonist of the work.
In addition to the role of Frollo, Golubev also played other roles on stage. He played:
- Alexandra in the musical "Metro";
- Bertuccio in the production of "Monte Cristo";
- Prince Radziwill in the play "Count Orlov" and other roles.
In addition to the theater stage, the actor also appeared on television. He played episodic roles in the series "Interns" and the films "Election Day" and "Bitter!"
