An expert has explained what will happen to the summer season in a popular resort town after an accident involving two tankers.

Sergey Romashkin, Vice President of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) for domestic tourism, shared a comment on this topic.

He said that what happened will not affect the quality of summer holidays in Anapa, TASS reports. The problem will be solved by the time the season opens.

It is not yet possible to say how the incident in the Black Sea will affect tourists planning to visit Anapa in the summer of 2025.

In December, only a few people buy tours to Anapa for the summer, Romashkin reported.

As for winter holidays, the main activity at this time of year is not connected with the sea, but is focused on entertainment in the city itself.

Tourists who planned to celebrate the New Year in Anapa are not abandoning their plans, the Vice President of ATOR summed up.
