Doctors from Moscow Region Save Woman Whose Neck Was Bitten by Dog

Doctors performed surgery on a woman whose neck was injured while playing with a dog. The Moscow Agency reports details, citing the regional health ministry press service and head of the ENT department Artem Gerbergagen.
It is noted that a patient with a neck injury was admitted to the Podolsk hospital. It turned out that the woman was playing with a dog, but the dog got carried away and bit her.
According to the press service, doctors examined the patient and found a number of injuries, including a finger wound and subcutaneous emphysema of the neck.
It was also noted that due to one of the wounds the woman began to choke.
According to Herbergagen, the woman underwent surgery. The work lasted for more than two hours. After the operation, the woman was taken to the intensive care unit and then to the ENT department.
It is added that the woman is currently feeling well.
