The agency recalled a law previously adopted in Finland that significantly expands the capabilities of border guards in relation to the use of radio technologies.
However, it is noted that the necessary equipment has not yet been made available to border guards.
In the future, it is planned that the movement of mobile devices will be tracked at the border. Tracking will take place within a radius of 30-40 kilometers.
It is clarified that this only concerns the mobile phones themselves, and not the information they transmit.
It is also emphasized that information about the gadget's owners will remain inviolable.
