Forecaster Leus spoke about the "broken" autumn
Forecaster Mikhail Leus told what is happening in autumn in the central part of European Russia.
The expert described the weather anomalies in his Telegram channel.
Leus stated that autumn is trying to come into its own, but so far nothing has worked out.
On Friday, September 27, autumn made its second attempt to “establish itself” in the weather.
It is expected that in the last days of September it will really get colder, to +10…+15°C.
But already on October 1–3 it will warm up again, up to +24°C. Therefore, the second attempt in autumn will be a failure.
Leus stated that autumn “broke down” in the territory of the Russian Plain.
The third attempt to “establish itself” in the weather will be observed on October 4–5.
The first attempt was made on September 22–23, when the average temperature dropped two degrees below the climatic norm, and frosts were recorded at night.
But already on September 25–26 the temperature crossed the twenty-degree mark.
Whether autumn will be able to gain a foothold on the third attempt will become clearer a little later.
However, experts note that we are now experiencing perhaps the warmest autumn in recorded history.
