According to the company's experts, humanity is not yet ready for such a technological breakthrough.
This was stated in a conversation with RIA Novosti by MTS Vice President for Strategy and Innovation, CEO of Future Crew Evgeny Chereshnev.
Earlier, Elon Musk said that his company Tesla is already ready for serial production of humanoid robots and plans to begin their production next year.
The billionaire noted that at first humanoid machines will be manufactured only for the needs of his corporation, but did not rule out that as early as 2026 the production of robots for other companies could begin.
Neither society, nor the state, nor institutions are ready for this, the expert emphasized.
According to Chereshnev, in order for this to become possible, it is necessary to develop an additional regulatory framework.
At the same time, this direction has prospects, since robots will be in demand as a cheaper analogue of labor that does not require sleep and wages.
