It is noted that the problem with the growing number of deceived Russian citizens was pointed out at a meeting of the Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights by the head of the Cribrum company.
Igor Ashmanov recalled that under the influence of telephone scammers, people not only lose huge amounts of money, but even lose their homes.
It is in this connection that a proposal was made for the government to introduce a so-called cooling-off period. It provides for a temporary freeze of funds after the sale of real estate.
Vladimir Putin, in turn, noted that he is aware of the problem and intends to once again remind the Prosecutor General’s Office and law enforcement agencies about it.
The head of state emphasized that due to the development of information technologies, problems with citizens’ rights constantly arise.
