Putin: Nabiullina herself doesn’t know what the key rate will be tomorrow
Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on the possible increase in the Central Bank's key rate.
He explained that the decision on the rate is made by the board of directors of the Central Bank of Russia.
Nabiullina is not telling me what the key rate will be tomorrow, Putin said during a direct line combined with a press conference.
He also said that she most likely does not know what the rate will be as a result of the meeting on December 20.

He added that the head of the Central Bank, Elvira Nabiullina, never tells him what the key rate will be.
