The video footage allegedly shows the “Mozhaisk Confectionery House”, where confectionery products are produced in unsanitary conditions.
RIA Novosti reported this with reference to information received from the department’s press service.
It is noted that information about unsanitary conditions began to appear on Tuesday after Telegram channels distributed a video showing the terrible unsanitary conditions at the enterprise.
The very next day, VkusVill and Perekrestok announced that they were suspending deliveries of MKD products and removing goods from the shelves.
The Mozhaisk Confectionary House itself adheres to the version that the footage in social networks is fake information. The MKD suggested that unfair competition could be the reason for this.
Rospotrebnadzor sent an official letter to the editorial office of the Internet resource that first distributed the video footage, demanding proof of its authenticity.
