Russia proposes to bring back vacation call and increase overtime limit
The Ministry of Economic Development has developed amendments to the Labor Code.
The set of measures is intended to solve the problem of personnel shortage in the labour market.
This information was shared by the RBC agency, which received the accompanying materials for the amendments.
Let us recall that the current overtime work limit is 120 hours per year and 2 hours per day, taking into account that a person will work no more than two days in a row on such a schedule.
According to the new amendments, the limit is planned to be doubled: to 240 and 4 hours, respectively.
Also, according to the Labor Code in Russia, it is currently prohibited to recall people who are on legal leave.
However, if the worker is involved in hazardous production and there is an urgent need for his presence, the Ministry of Economic Development proposes lifting this ban.
It is emphasized that lifting the ban will be possible only if the employee agrees to it and is paid double.
