The Russian Ministry of Labor has informed citizens of the country of the calendar of New Year and May holidays for 2025.
It is reported that in May Russians will have eight days free from work.
In winter, during the New Year holidays, Russian citizens will be given eleven days off, as reported by RIA Novosti .
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Labor reminds: “Every year, the government of our country approves the transfer of days off that coincide with holidays.”
Weekend in 2025
According to the agency, the transfers allow for optimal use of the days allotted for holiday rest.
The Russian Ministry of Labor adds: “For example, those days off that fall on New Year’s holidays are added to other holidays.”
According to the department, it follows from the specified scheme that the New Year holidays of 2024-2025 will last for an eleven-day period.
