Students of Tyumen State University (TSU) are creating an AI chess teacher for children. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the university's strategic communications department and one of the developers of the AI teacher, Anna Shikhova.

It is noted that the company "Taru-toys" is also involved in the development.

According to the department, the students will create clear explanations that will help children learn chess.

Shikhova noted that this innovation will be useful for beginning chess players, since a simple explanation will help them understand the meaning of chess moves.

According to her, the computer is now capable of playing chess well, but it cannot explain the essence of the moves in understandable language.

She noted that work is currently underway to create a tool for detailed responses.

It is added that the project will help solve the problem of teacher shortages in various countries.
