Igor Levochkin was presented with a brand new Niva Chevrolet car.
This was reported by a RIA Novosti correspondent who attended a meeting of journalists with the director of the Borodinsky branch of the State Institution of the Moscow Region "Mosoblles".
It is specified that the car donated to the forester will be used exclusively for work purposes.
According to Makhach Shirinov, the government plans to annually allocate a vehicle to those who find a suitable Christmas tree for celebrating the New Year in Moscow.
How to find the treasured spruce
According to the head of Mosoblles, in order for a spruce to be recognized as suitable for installation in the city, it must meet a number of important criteria.
The main spruce of the country must have the appropriate size, shape, condition of the paws, and age.
These were the parameters of a tree found back in June 2024 during a patrol in the area of the village of Znamenka in the Mozhaisk urban district of the Moscow region.
The spruce was one of fifteen candidates for this honorable role, and it was she who ultimately received the honor of being the main decoration of Moscow.
The tree is 90 years old, its height is 25 meters, the span of its branches is 8 meters and the trunk circumference is 60 centimeters.
