The Social Fund told how pensions of working pensioners will grow in 2025
From January 1, pensions for working pensioners will be indexed.
The increase, taking inflation into account, will be 7.3%.
The Social Fund of Russia shared this information on its official website .
As specified in the publication, the pensions of working pensioners will now be indexed along with the social benefits received by non-working elderly people.
However, the increase will be calculated differently.
As explained by the Social Fund, it is not the amount of the pension paid that will be indexed, but its established size. That is, the level of indexation will be calculated from the amount that the pensioner would receive if he had the status of unemployed.
The agency explained how pensions will grow using a specific example. For example, a working pensioner receives 19,527.94 rubles per month, and if he did not work anywhere, the payment amount would be 36,351.59 rubles.
Since the pension will be indexed by 7.3%, then from January 1, working pensioners will receive 2,653.11 rubles, which is 7.3% of 36,351.59 rubles.
