Sphinxes are truly amazing animals, all breeds of which are distinguished by the almost complete hairlessness of individuals.
And this feature of cats dictates its own rules for caring for them.
Bathing
Even though cats are hairless, they still need to be bathed.

However, you can do this less often than with your furry brethren. It is recommended to wash your Sphynx no more than 1-2 times a month.
When washing, you can use bath foams and shower gels intended for children.
After bathing, the cat must be wrapped in a soft towel.
Skin care
The sebaceous glands of hairless cats secrete a lot of secretion, which in turn accumulates in the pores and forms a crust on the animal's skin. This not only brings discomfort to the pet, but is also fraught with dermatitis.
Therefore, it is necessary to get some alcohol-free wet wipes from the pharmacy or a lotion that also does not contain alcohol.
When wiping your cat's body, it is important to pay attention to the folds on its body, since this is where excess secretion accumulates.
