Aquarium fish are pets that are difficult to determine when something is wrong with them.
However, there are a number of symptoms that are difficult to miss, and certainly not worth ignoring.
Common symptoms
Some signs of the disease are visible to the naked eye:

- the fish rubs its body against various surfaces;
- the pet's fins become brittle and gradually disintegrate;
- the fish tries to jump out of the water and stays near its surface;
- the pet's body swells;
- the skin has become unnaturally dull or has a coating on it;
- the fish's gills are covered with mucus;
- the pet moves little or, on the contrary, rushes around the aquarium and moves in leaps;
- fish refuses to eat, etc.
All of the above, as well as similar symptoms, are deviations from the norm.
They can be caused by both external factors, such as aquarium pollution or water quality, and internal factors, such as various fungi and bacteria.
Experts advise preventing diseases rather than treating them. To do this, you need to carefully look after your pets and make sure they are comfortable.
