Parrots are the smartest birds, which can perfectly remember several dozen or even hundreds of words of human speech.
However, this is not the only superpower of these pets.
Birds can be taught to come to the owner's hand, give a paw or a wing, dance and do other tricks that are limited only by your patience and imagination.

Principles of training parrots
As with any other pet, it is important to be patient. The bird will not learn everything you want it to do in just 5 minutes. Training will take a lot of time.
To teach your pet to move to your hand or finger (in the case of small budgies), you should accustom the bird to your presence. To do this, it is recommended to extend your index finger to the parrot's belly, encouraging it to move to your hand.
If the bird gets scared, don't insist: after a while it will come to you without fear.
When the parrot gets used to your hand, accompany each transition with the command you want to accustom your pet to. Most often, this is the command "Forward!". The command "Back!" is taught in a similar way, in which the bird must leave your hand.
You can train your parrot to fly to you. To do this, put your finger under it, as you usually do, so that the pet moves to it. Only this time, move the landing area away from the bird.
After a few sessions, the parrot will figure out that it needs to fly to you. Increase the distance each time and don’t forget to reward the bird when it copes with the task.
