Unfortunately, our pets age differently than we do.
Therefore, at every stage of life, the animal needs special care, which only the owner can provide.
How old is your cat
If we convert a cat's years into human years, then its age is conventionally determined as follows.

Animals aged 7 to 10 years are already considered aging, cats over 10 years old are considered elderly, and those over 15 years old are considered old.
So a 10-year-old cat is equivalent to a 56-year-old human. And since animals often live to be 20, that's equivalent to 96 years in humans.
The following signs indicate that a cat is getting old:
- the hair turns grey, its condition worsens due to the deterioration of the sebaceous glands;
- sense of smell, vision and hearing are dulled;
- joints become less flexible;
- problems with teeth appear;
- the animal's weight decreases due to deterioration in food absorption;
- the cat's body becomes more vulnerable to various diseases.
