Vomiting in a cat can mean that the pet is very seriously ill.
Let's figure out what reasons can cause this symptom.
Why does a cat vomit often?
The following factors cause vomiting in cats:

- hair accumulated in the stomach after licking (especially during shedding);
- rapid consumption of food or overeating;
- shaking as a result of a long journey;
- pregnancy;
- poisoning by substances harmful to animals, including some indoor flowers;
- injury;
- various diseases.
In the first case, especially during shedding, it is important to brush the cat frequently and give it special vitamins that help to painlessly remove hair from the body.
All other cases require individual consideration, especially if you are not sure of the exact cause of your pet's illness.
It is definitely worth paying attention to vomiting if it contains blood, as this may be a symptom of oncology.
Also, do not ignore vomit of an unusual color, such as yellow or green, given that the cat's diet has not changed before and it has not eaten yellow food or grass.
