That is why it is so important to know how to save money wisely when you undertake its repair.
Yulia Tychino, an expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI on issues of interior design and interior design, will suggest three design techniques that help to arrange a bathroom in an apartment without sacrificing the entire family budget.
Designer's Tips
Speaking about tiles, the designer named several ways to save on wall finishing:
- Instead of decor from the collection, buy mosaics, which will cost less than special borders;
- porcelain stoneware is not particularly different in cost from ceramics, but it is several times more durable;
- To avoid spending money on tiles where they are not visible, it is worth using waterproof paint.
As for plumbing, there is no need to spend money on an expensive shower cabin. Its cheaper analogue would be a floor drain and a glass curtain.
Life hack for small bathrooms: if you hang a mirror on the main wall instead of finishing, you will solve the problem of increasing the space and improving the lighting of the room.
