How to Squeeze Lemon Juice

Prepare a saucepan with running water, heat it to about 50 degrees.

Wash the fruit and then dip it in hot water for a couple of minutes. This will help soften the lemon peel a little.

After this, the fruit should be cut not across, but lengthwise. The larger the surface area of the pulp, the more juice it can give off.

Then arm yourself with a fork and start squeezing the juice out of the lemon. A fork is necessary because its sharp teeth pierce the membranes of the fruit and help to more effectively deal with the extraction of juice.
