Today, the tax-free amount is at the level of 210,000 rubles.

If the total income from all open deposits is higher than this amount, then you will have to pay tax.

Even if the corresponding notification from the Federal Tax Service has not arrived, Daineko emphasized.

In 2025, tax on income from bank deposits will be paid independently. Filing a declaration is not required in this case.

This year, about 1.8 million Russian citizens received a notice from the tax authorities about the need to pay the newly introduced tax on bank deposits.

Taxes for the previous year are paid before December 1 of the following year.
