The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has proposed limiting prices on a number of popular models of household appliances and electronics.
This recommendation is addressed to DNS, M.Video and Citylink networks.
The Federal Antimonopoly Service believes that this will have a positive effect on the market.

The department's statement emphasized that such a practice will help increase the availability of in-demand goods.
The FAS explained that in 2023, the largest retail chains have committed to voluntarily limiting prices and markups.
At that time, the aforementioned retail chains slowed down the growth of prices for 30 categories of socially significant equipment.
This helped to cope with the possible increase in the cost of electronics and household appliances.
In this regard, the FAS recommends that market participants adhere to the principles of responsible pricing and unjustified price increases.
