Putin recalled that Russia has made significant progress in this matter. In any case, if we talk about the pilot project for the introduction of the digital ruble, it has already proven in practice its readiness for work.
Already, 12 banks, 600 individuals, and 22 enterprises located in various cities of the country are ready to work with the digital ruble.
As the President emphasized, as of the beginning of July, about 27 thousand financial transactions had already been completed within the framework of the project to introduce the digital ruble.
