Rosstat analysts spoke about the situation with prices in the Russian Federation.
Experts noted that inflationary pressure remains.
In November, annual inflation was 8.88%, according to a report published on the agency’s website .
The figure is higher than in October. A month earlier, annual inflation was estimated at 8.54%.
The monthly growth of consumer prices amounted to 1.43%, Rosstat reported.
Food products have increased in price by 9.85% over the year and by 2.33% over the month.
As for non-food items, it is 5.71% and 0.51% in annual and monthly terms.
Services have increased in price more significantly in annual terms – 11.41%. Over the month, they have increased by 1.31%.
Experts previously noted that ongoing inflationary pressure will force the Central Bank to raise the key rate again.
Analysts' forecasts vary. Some assume that the regulator will raise it to 22%, while others believe that the Central Bank may take tougher measures.
