Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Georgy Gorshkov announced that VTB has raised rates on ruble deposits.
It is emphasized that today the maximum rate is 20 percent per annum.
Gorshkov explained: “Any of our current clients can take advantage of this offer,” as reported by TASS .
It is emphasized that the rate on the VTB deposit will be 20 percent for a period of two years.
Economic situation
It is indicated that the relevant changes were adopted before the meeting of the Bank of Russia’s board of directors on the key rate.
This event, according to preliminary information, will take place on Friday, September 13.
Commenting on the adopted changes, Gorshkov added that the base rate on deposits increased by an average of 1.9 - 2.5 percentage points.
The expert added that the final rate will directly depend on the service package chosen by the clients.
