In Russia, housing and communal services tariffs will increase by an average of 11.9% in 2025.
This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Public Utilities, Sergei Kolunov.
He explained that utility prices will increase from July 1, 2025, RIA Novosti writes.

The traditional tariff increase will be 11.9%.
The government has approved indices for changing fees, taking into account the maximum values in each region.
Local authorities can independently control the amount of indexation, but not higher than that established by the government.
The indicator of 11.9%, as practice shows, is the average for the country.
Kolunov also said that tariff increases were inevitable and, as expected, were linked to inflation.
